Excedrin

Excedrin contains aspirin plus caffeine plus acetaminophen — the aspirin component makes it a caution during breastfeeding. Occasional single doses are low risk, but it's not the first choice.

Excedrin Migraine contains 250mg acetaminophen, 250mg aspirin, and 65mg caffeine per tablet. The aspirin raises the same concerns as standalone aspirin (salicylate and theoretical Reye's risk). Acetaminophen alone is a better first-line option for headache. For true migraines, discuss with your provider for better options.

Always confirm with your doctor or lactation consultant before making dietary changes while breastfeeding.
