Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is safe during breastfeeding and is a postpartum staple for perineal care and hemorrhoid relief. Topical use has negligible systemic absorption.

Witch hazel is a plant-derived astringent used topically for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Postpartum it's commonly used on perineal pads (Tucks) for soreness and hemorrhoids. Topical absorption is minimal and it poses no concern for breastfed infants. Safe for regular postpartum use.
