Thai Iced Tea
Thai iced tea has a strong black tea base with significant caffeine content, plus it's very high in sugar and condensed milk. Enjoy occasionally and count the caffeine toward your daily limit.
Occasional; count caffeine toward your 300mg daily limit
Thai iced tea is made from strongly brewed black tea (often with star anise and vanilla), sweetened condensed milk, and evaporated milk. A typical serving can contain 60-100mg of caffeine. The condensed milk makes it very high in sugar and calories. As an occasional treat it's fine, but it shouldn't be a daily drink given the caffeine and sugar load.
Always confirm with your doctor or lactation consultant before making dietary changes while breastfeeding.
