Strawberries

Strawberries are perfectly safe while breastfeeding. The old worry that they cause rashes in babies through breast milk has no scientific backing.

Myth: Strawberries do NOT cause rashes or allergic reactions in breastfed babies through breast milk in any significant way. This is an old folk belief not supported by modern research.

Strawberries are high in vitamin C and antioxidants, making them an excellent food for nursing moms. True strawberry protein allergy is possible but rare, and transfer through breast milk causing allergic reactions is extremely uncommon. Unless your baby has been diagnosed with a strawberry allergy, there's no reason to avoid them.
