Sleepytime Tea

Sleepytime Tea is a blend of chamomile, spearmint, and other herbs. Each ingredient is generally mild, but the combination and the sedative intent means caution while breastfeeding — especially for very young infants. An occasional cup is unlikely to harm, but nightly large quantities deserve more thought.

Occasional use generally fine; review specific blend ingredients; avoid valerian-containing versions
The original Sleepytime blend contains chamomile, spearmint, lemongrass, tilia flowers, blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn, and rosebuds. Most of these are very low-concern in small amounts. However, chamomile and spearmint (closely related to peppermint) both carry minor cautions for breastfeeding in large amounts. The 'extra sleepy' versions may contain valerian, which has more significant lactation cautions. Check the specific blend you're using and stick to occasional use.
