Simethicone (Gas-X)
Gas-X (simethicone) is completely safe during breastfeeding. It works only in the GI tract and is not absorbed into the bloodstream or breast milk at all.
Simethicone is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. It physically breaks up gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines.
