Sake

Sake is a fermented rice drink with around 15–17% ABV — higher than most wines. The serving size is typically smaller (a 3oz pour), making it roughly equivalent to one standard drink. Same rules: one serving, 2-hour wait.

1 standard drink (~3oz at 15–17% ABV); wait 2+ hours before nursing
Sake's higher ABV compared to wine means the standard serving size is smaller. A typical 3oz (90ml) pour of 16% ABV sake contains about 14g of alcohol — one standard drink. Larger pours or multiple servings require proportionally more time to clear. Sake is fermented, not distilled, so it falls into the wine category metabolically. Nothing specific about sake makes it better or worse than other alcohol from a breastfeeding standpoint.
