Rosé Wine

Rosé follows the same rules as any wine — moderate, occasional, and timed away from nursing. A glass of rosé after a feed, with at least 2 hours before the next one, is perfectly reasonable.

1 standard drink (5oz at ~12% ABV); wait 2+ hours before nursing

Myth: You need to pump and dump after drinking alcohol. This is false — only time clears alcohol from milk.

Rosé is typically similar in ABV to red or white wine (11–14%). The same 2-hour-per-drink clearance guideline applies. Bottled rosé varies more in sweetness and ABV than other wines, so it's worth checking labels if you're drinking a particularly strong variety. Otherwise, the guidelines are identical to any other wine.
