Neosporin

Neosporin is safe during breastfeeding. It's a topical antibiotic ointment with negligible systemic absorption.

Neosporin contains bacitracin, neomycin, and polymyxin B. Topical application results in minimal systemic absorption. If applying near the nipple, wipe off gently before nursing to avoid the baby ingesting directly — though this is not a serious concern. A small percentage of people develop contact allergy to neomycin; plain bacitracin is an alternative.
