Kimchi

Kimchi is safe and actually a great food to eat while breastfeeding! As a fermented food, it's rich in probiotics and beneficial for gut health.

Kimchi is lacto-fermented napa cabbage with chili, garlic, ginger, and other vegetables. The fermentation process creates beneficial bacteria (probiotics) that support gut health for both you and potentially your baby through breast milk. The spiciness and garlic won't cause problems for your baby. Kimchi is also a good source of vitamins C and K.
