Ginger
Ginger is safe and beneficial while breastfeeding. It's excellent for nausea, inflammation, and digestion, and culinary and tea amounts pose no risk to your baby.
Ginger has well-documented anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea properties. Small amounts transfer to breast milk but are not considered harmful to infants. One small study suggested ginger may modestly support milk supply in the early postpartum period. Culinary ginger, ginger tea, and ginger candies are all fine. Very high supplemental doses (over 4g/day) are not recommended.
Always confirm with your doctor or lactation consultant before making dietary changes while breastfeeding.
