Flonase (Fluticasone Nasal Spray)
Flonase is safe and actually the preferred treatment for nasal allergies during breastfeeding. It acts locally in the nasal passages with minimal systemic absorption.
Fluticasone nasal spray has very low systemic absorption (less than 2% of the dose), making it one of the safest allergy medications available. Virtually none reaches breast milk.
