Black Tea

Black tea has more caffeine than green or white tea — around 40–70mg per cup — but it's still significantly less than coffee. It's a perfectly reasonable choice as long as you're mindful of your total daily caffeine intake from all sources.

Up to 300mg caffeine/day total (~40–70mg per 8oz cup)
A standard mug of brewed black tea has roughly 47mg of caffeine. If you have 3–4 cups throughout the day, you're approaching your limit but still within it. Black tea is also high in tannins, which can reduce iron absorption, so try to drink it between meals rather than with food. Otherwise, enjoy your cuppa freely!
